NaTel provides Internet-based telephone services. While the phone in your house may look, feel, dial and ring like a normal phone, please realize that it shares the same internet connection as your computers (and, if you have an unsecured wireless network, your neighbour’s kid’s computer, as well).

If you’re having trouble, the first step is always to check your internet connection. (The easiest way to do this is by opening up this website on your home PC - if you’ve already done that, then you’re past step one.)

The next thing to try is unplugging your ATA gateway (the little shiny box with the NaTel sticker on it), and then plugging it back it. (This is called ‘power-cycling’). Give it 30 seconds, and then check to see if you have dial tone. If it’s STILL not working, give us a call or send us an email:
